The Sibaarist Booster UFO is a precision-engineered coffee brewing accessory designed to optimize the extraction process for the UFO dripper. It functions as a flow-rate enhancer by providing a physical barrier between the filter paper and the dripper’s base.

In many brewers, the filter paper can sag and seal against the drainage holes, a phenomenon known as “clogging” or “stalling.” This restricts water flow and can lead to uneven extraction.

The Booster UFO features a radial, laser-cut pattern that creates a dedicated space for effluent to travel. This ensures that the entire surface area of the coffee bed is utilized, rather than just the areas directly above the dripper’s holes.

Key Technical Benefits

• Reduced Contact Surface: By elevating the filter, it minimizes the surface area where the paper touches the brewer, significantly increasing the flow rate.
• Even Extraction: It eliminates dead zones at the bottom of the coffee bed, leading to a more uniform passage of water through the grounds.
• Material Quality: Constructed from high-quality AISI 304 Stainless Steel, ensuring thermal stability and durability without affecting flavor.
• Versatility: Compatible with most industry-standard flat-bottom drippers, including the Kalita Wave, Orea, and April brewers.

Specs & Details

• Compatibility: Exclusively designed to fit the 80-degree angle of the UFO Dripper V2 and Ceramic models.
• Material: 100% organic, highly permeable abaca and cellulose fiber blend.
• Flow Rate: Ultra-fast (significantly faster drawdown than standard cone filters).
• Origin: Sustainably manufactured in Barcelona, Spain.

When integrating the Booster UFO into a brewing routine, users typically find they can utilize a finer grind size than previously possible. This allows for higher extraction yields without the risk of the water stalling, resulting in a cup characterized by increased clarity and more defined flavor profiles.
