The Flair Café Kettle is an electric gooseneck kettle built around three heating modes: a one-tap Quick Boil for a rolling boil, a Warm mode that holds water at a chosen temperature for up to 30 minutes, and a combo mode that boils first and then drops to your set brew temperature. The combo mode is useful if you want water that has been brought fully to boil (for purification or to drive off chlorine taste) before being cooled back to, for example, 93 °C for pour-over.

The narrow gooseneck spout is the main reason to pick this kettle over a standard one. It gives a thin, slow stream that you can direct precisely onto a coffee bed, which matters for V60, Kalita Wave, Chemex, and similar pour-over methods where pour rate affects extraction. It also works well for pre-heating Flair lever espresso cylinders and for steeping tea at lower temperatures.

Who it’s for

This is a budget-friendly entry into variable-temperature kettles. It covers the same core features as more expensive options like the Fellow Stagg EKG (variable temperature, gooseneck spout, hold mode) at a noticeably lower price, with the trade-off being a less refined feel and a more visible Flair logo on the body. If you want temperature control and a gooseneck spout without spending Stagg money, this is a sensible pick. If you already own a basic kettle and only brew French press or drip, you probably don’t need it.
