Overview

These are xBloom’s branded 155 mm wave-style paper filters, sold in boxes of 100. They are the recommended filter for the xBloom Omni Dripper 2 (the reusable dripper that ships with the xBloom Studio) and also work with xBloom’s first-generation reusable dripper. Because 155 mm is a standard flat-bottom filter size, they fit other drippers that take the same format, including the Kalita Wave 155, Origami, and Orea.

How they compare to Kalita Wave 155 filters

The xBloom filters and Kalita Wave 155 filters are the same size and shape, and they are interchangeable in practice. Users who have tried both generally note that the xBloom filters are slightly thicker and stiffer than the Kalita papers, which makes them easier to handle (they hold their shape in the dripper without pre-wetting) and gives a somewhat faster flow rate.
