The TOPL To Go is a vacuum-insulated stainless steel travel mug built around a patented 360° lid that lets you sip from any side of the rim, the same way you would from a ceramic mug at home. A small vent in the lid lets aroma through, so coffee and tea taste closer to how they would in a normal cup, rather than the muffled flavour you usually get from a sealed sports lid.
Twist the lid clockwise and it locks into a leakproof seal, making the cup safe to drop into a bag for the commute. If you forget to lock it and the cup tips over, TOPL’s SpillSafe® mechanism snaps the lid shut to prevent serious spills. The transparent splashguard lets you see how much drink is left, and the whole lid pulls apart for cleaning, which matters because residue trapped in lid mechanisms is the usual reason travel mugs start to smell.

How the SpillSafe lid works
Most travel mugs offer a binary choice: lid open and prone to spilling, or lid closed and slow to drink from. TOPL’s lid sits in three positions: open for free sipping, neutral (snaps shut if the cup tips over), and locked for transport. The 360° rim means there is no “right way” to hold the cup, so it suits left- and right-handed drinkers equally and works whether you’re walking, driving, or sitting at a desk.
Good to know before you buy
The cup is intended for coffee, tea, water, and similar non-carbonated, non-thick drinks. Smoothies, soups, and fizzy drinks aren’t recommended because they interfere with the lid seal. Hot drinks should also be allowed to cool below 70 °C (158 °F) before locking the lid, since this is a vacuum-insulated mug rather than a pressure-rated flask. The base is 59 mm (2.32 inches) wide, which fits most car cup holders.
