What the Exclusive Line is

Profitec reserves certain finishes for dealers who can demonstrate the machine and hand it over in person. Those models carry the Exclusive Line badge and are not sold through general retailers or ordinary webshops. The MOVE Exclusive Line is one of them. Mechanically it is the same machine as the standard Profitec MOVE: same boilers, same pump, same brew group, same electronics. What changes is the trim and how you buy it.

The portafilter handle and the steam and hot water knobs are turned from American walnut, each one handmade, so the grain differs from machine to machine. Against the powder-coated black body the effect is warmer and less industrial than the standard black fittings.

Dual boiler performance in a 27 cm footprint

The MOVE asks for 27 cm of width and 44.5 cm of depth, roughly what a mid-size heat exchanger occupies, and still gives you two independent boilers. The 0.4 L brass brew boiler sits inside an optimised ring brew group rather than an E61, so there is no thermosyphon to wait on and no cooling flush routine to learn. The 0.75 L stainless steel steam boiler feeds both the steam wand and a dedicated hot water tap, and can be switched off when you are drinking espresso only.

Both boilers are PID controlled and set independently, so brew temperature and steam pressure are separate decisions. Brew and steam are available at the same moment, which is what makes two or three milk drinks back to back comfortable rather than a sequence of waits. The reservoir holds 2.8 L and there is no plumb-in option, so refilling stays part of the routine.

The modular portafilter

The MOVE ships bottomless, with silicone attachments that convert it to one or two spouts in seconds. The walnut handle fits the same modular system, so it can be moved to another MOVE later. Profitec’s own walkthrough shows how it works:

What to pair it with

The grinder does more for shot quality than the machine at this level. The Profitec Twist A54 matches the MOVE’s footprint and shares its design language, with stepless adjustment and programmable single and double doses.

Water is worth settling before the machine arrives. The tank takes a built-in filter adapter, but if you want to control your brew water rather than only filter it, the ZeroWater 1.7 L filtration jug gives you a near-zero base to build from and includes a TDS meter for tracking when a filter is spent. We can talk both of these through with you at handover.

Buying one

Because this model sits outside the webshop, the process is a conversation rather than a checkout. Contact us and we will confirm current availability, talk through whether the MOVE or another machine suits how you actually drink coffee, and send an invoice for payment. From there you can collect the machine in Sarpsborg or we can send it to you.

Collection is worth considering if you are new to a dual boiler machine. We run the machine with you at handover and get the grinder and dose dialled in before you leave, which is the part a courier cannot do. If collection is not practical, we will make sure you have what you need to set it up at home, and you can reach us afterwards with questions.
