They not only protect this cocoa, but also the environment in which it grows, the tropical rainforest. This Virunga (formerly Cru Virunga) is harvested in Virunga National Park in eastern D.R. Congo. With a cocoa percentage of 70% and a 20-hour conch, it yields a beautiful chocolate with a complex taste and a lot of depth.
