This 50% milk chocolate bar is a special collaboration between Fjåk and Banzha, a restaurant in Bergen that serves up the incredible food of the Yunnan Province in Southwest China.
Together, they paired high-quality cacao beans from Chanthaburi, Thailand, with green Sichuan pepper. Instead of just giving you a blast of heat, the green Sichuan pepper brings out vibrant, herbal, and aromatic notes that blend beautifully with the rich milk chocolate. It’s a unique flavor profile inspired by the history of the ancient Silk Road, resulting in a bar that is comforting, complex, and totally different from your everyday milk chocolate.
