Overview
This is the full Pressure Gauge Kit for the Cafelat Robot. It contains every part of the gauge system: the gauge itself bonded into a stainless steel bracket, the Parker Legris push-fit fittings that connect to the piston and the gauge, the flexible FEP tube that runs between them, the metal sleeve that protects the tube, and the mesh filter that sits in line to stop espresso from creeping into the gauge. Installation uses a 2 mm Allen key for the grub screws.
Who this kit is for
There are two main reasons to buy the full kit rather than an individual spare part. The first is converting a Regular Robot into a Barista: the Regular Robot ships without any gauge plumbing, so you need every component in this kit, not just the gauge. The second is rebuilding a Barista’s gauge system from scratch, for example after damage to multiple parts. If only one component has failed (just the tube, just the gauge, or just a fitting), the individual spare parts are usually the cheaper option.
About the mesh filter
The small stainless mesh filter included in the kit is easy to overlook but worth understanding. It sits in the line between the piston and the gauge, and its job is to block coffee grounds and espresso from entering the gauge mechanism. Without it, the gauge can clog or stop reading accurately over time. Keep it clean during routine maintenance.
