This coffee is from a local municipality and processed at a private coffee washing station in one of our favorite districts, Kayanza. He is dividing his products based on the area they are grown and harvested. As they are also separating their coffees based on daily pickings and different processing methods it is possible to make a very specified selection of micro lots based on the different flavor profiles. We payed 5.85 $/lb FOB for this lot, 290% over the commodity market price for coffee.

Cabra Coffee Roasters Magerita coffee is a fantastic coffee from Granja La Esperanza, this time a honey processed coffee from the Las Margaritas farm. This red bourbon varietal is partially depulped during processing, leaving 50% of the mucilage on the bean, giving it a honey color, hence the name. The Las Margaritas sits at an altitude of 1550-1650 meters above sea level in a province called Campo Azul.

From the same region in Costa Rica that gave us Finca Fidel (the West valley in Lordes de Naranjo) we’re super excited to have Vista al Valle back for a second year. Oldemar and Marlene are processing Guaba coffee through a virtually brand new micromill in only its third year of production. We payed 4,25 $/lb FOB for this lot, thats 220% over the commodity market price for coffee.
