Why a dedicated grounds brush
Grinders throw a small amount of coffee onto the counter with every dose, and espresso machines collect grounds around the group and drip tray. A damp cloth smears them; a kitchen brush is usually too soft and too wide. This brush has firm bristles cut to a feathered edge, so a couple of strokes gather the grounds into a line you can sweep into a knock box or bin. The handle is long enough to reach behind the grinder without moving it.
Walnut and finish
The handle is solid walnut with a clear coating, which keeps coffee oils from soaking into the wood. The same walnut appears on La Marzocco’s wood customisation kits for the Linea Mini and GS3, so the brush matches those machines if you have gone that route. Keep it dry: tap the bristles out over the bin rather than rinsing, and wipe the handle with a dry cloth. A brush that lives next to a knock box such as the KBX Grounds Tower gets used far more than one that lives in a drawer.
