Overview

This is the standard water tank that ships with the xBloom Studio, sold separately as a replacement or spare. It slots into the rear of the machine and is held in place by a simple detachable fit. The hinged lid on top opens for filling, and inside you will find xBloom’s quick grind size reference chart printed on the lid interior.

Why you might want a spare

The most obvious reason is replacing a cracked or worn tank. But a second tank can also be practical if you use custom brew water (for example, a remineralised recipe with Third Wave Water or similar). Having a dedicated tank pre-filled with your preferred water mix means you can swap tanks without having to empty and refill each time you want to switch between tap-filtered and custom brew water. The Studio also supports an external water line via a 1/4″ OD tube at the bottom of the machine, but the tank remains useful even for plumbed-in setups, since the Studio can toggle between the two sources.
