Here in Nord we love Colombian coffees and El Limon is an amazing example of this origin. The brightness and sweetness of this delicate coffee won us over on the first cupping. The hard work of the producers shine in every brewed cup.
Coffee: 17 grams
Water: 288g / 94°C
Grind size: Medium / Comandante C40 – 24 clicks
Total brew time: 2:45–3:00
Brew guide:
1. Rinse filter and preheat.
2. Add coffee and create a small well in the center.
3. Start timer – pour 45 g for bloom (30 s).
4. Continue with three controlled pours (to 150 g / 230 g / 288 g), finishing at 1:45.
5. Drawdown should finish around 2:45-3:00.
Tasting notes: Bright, delicate, layered sweetness – strawberry, red fruits, floral finish.
Nord’s note: We love how clean and expressive Colombian coffees can be. At this temperature, the cup shows great clarity and structure.
