From time to time, KaffeBox offers used coffee equipment for sale. These items may include equipment that has been used for testing or demonstration, products that were returned due to a defect and subsequently repaired, or other units that are no longer sold as new.

All used equipment is inspected, cleaned, and verified to be in proper working condition before being listed for sale. Any known cosmetic or functional imperfections will be clearly noted in the product description.

To give a clear understanding of the condition of each item, KaffeBox uses the following 1–10 scale when grading used equipment.

10 – New / Unused
Factory-sealed or never used.
Full packaging and all original accessories.
No cosmetic or mechanical wear.

9 – Like New
Used only a few times.
No visible marks or scratches.
Fully functional and recently cleaned or maintained.

8 – Excellent
Light use, minimal cosmetic wear (tiny scuffs or surface marks only).
Fully functional.
All key parts included and working.
Regularly cleaned and maintained.

7 – Very Good
Moderate use, small cosmetic blemishes (light scratches, wear on handles, or shine on surfaces).
Works perfectly.
May have minor replacement parts such as gaskets or burrs.

6 – Good
Noticeable cosmetic wear but clean and operational.
May have small quirks such as a slightly noisy pump or worn button labels.
All essential functions work properly.

5 – Fair / Well Used
Heavily used but still works.
Multiple cosmetic blemishes such as scratches, faded paint, or staining.
Minor parts may need replacement soon (for example, gasket or burrs).

4 – Functional but Worn
Fully operational but with significant cosmetic wear.
May have minor leaks or calibration issues.
Needs maintenance or replacement parts soon.

3 – Poor / Needs Work
Powers on or partially functional but has mechanical issues (for example, inconsistent pressure or burr alignment off).
Significant wear or damage.
Needs professional service before reliable use.

2 – Non-Functional / For Parts
Does not operate as intended.
Major components missing or broken.
Suitable for repair or spare parts only.

1 – Scrap
Irreparable or missing critical components.
Only useful for recycling or parts salvage.
