Tiamo Cold Water Coffee Drip Tower

2.499 NOK

The Tiamo Cold Brew Tower can produce up to 10 cups of coffee.

To use it, fill the upper glass bulb with a combination of water and ice. Adjust the dripping speed according to your preference, keeping in mind that the brewing process typically takes around 3-7 hours. The outcome is a delightful, clean, and slightly sweet cup of coffee.

Here are the steps to follow:

DOSING AND GRINDING
The amount of coffee you use depends on your taste, but a good starting point is 10 grams of coffee for every 100 milliliters of brewed coffee. For example, if you’re making half a liter, use 50 grams of coffee. Place the ground coffee in the stainless steel filter. Begin with a medium grind size and adjust it slightly finer based on the type of coffee you’re using.

WATER AND ICE
Fill the top container with a mixture of fresh ice and cold water, depending on the desired quantity of coffee.

DRIP SPEED
Adjust the valve so that the water drips at a rate of approximately 1 drop per second or every 1.5 seconds. Check on the brewer midway through the brewing process, as the reduced water volume in the upper carafe may require adjusting the drip time mechanism to maintain a speed of 40-60 drips per minute.

CHILL
Once the brewing process is complete, the coffee will be at room temperature. Before serving, refrigerate the coffee or serve it in a glass with plenty of ice.

Enjoy your refreshing cup of coffee!
The stainless steel coffee filter is designed to be used without additional paper filters. However, if desired, you can use paper filters both beneath the ground coffee and on top of it (to distribute the dripping water evenly). The typical brewing cycle lasts between 3-5 hours.
