Orea Flat Filter Paper (Type G)

Our Type “G” paper filter is the classic flat paper we’ve offered since the beginning. The “G” stands for “General purpose,” making this a versatile option. The filter features a smooth surface on one side and a crepe texture on the other. For optimal brewing, we recommend placing the smooth side facing inward, towards the coffee, and the crepe side outward, against the brewer. This paper is known for enhancing sweetness and has a medium flow rate, increasing contact time compared to our other flat papers, so a coarser grind is usually best. Made from high-quality Japanese paper stock and cut to shape in China, this filter is ideal for our OPEN bottom brewers and the FAST and APEX bottoms in the V4.
