The Normcore Coffee Palm Tamper is a barista tool designed to enhance the coffee-making experience, particularly when it comes to tamping espresso grounds. It’s available in two sizes, 53.3mm and 58.5mm, to cater to different filter basket sizes. The 58.5mm variant is a standard size suitable for most ’58mm’ baskets, including those from VST and IMS, making it ideal for the majority of home and commercial espresso machines. The 53.3mm size is specifically designed to fit 54mm Breville portafilters, which are tapered, and is compatible with several Breville models like the Barista Express, Pro, Touch, Bambino Plus, Infuser, and Duo-Temp Pro.

One of the standout features of this tamper is its built-in spring. This spring provides consistent tamping pressure each time, ensuring that the coffee grounds are compressed tightly and evenly.
