Morin Bolivia Ekeko 70% Dark Chocolate

89 NOK

Flavour notes: slightly woody, yellow fruits, gooseberry jam, plums, followed by notes of honey and hot chocolate (yes, right, chocolate milk, that’s possible).

Sourced from wild cocoa beans harvested by the Yuracaré and Chimanes indigenous peoples, this chocolate offers a distinctive woody taste with vibrant fruity notes, culminating in a honeyed sweetness. These communities, from the Cochabamba region, have formed an association to sustainably harvest high-quality cocoa beans as a response to deforestation’s impact on their resources. The beans are FairWild certified, ensuring they are grown and collected in harmony with nature. The cocoa is gathered from wild islands in the Amazon basin, using traditional methods of transportation such as canoes and horseback, and processed only once a year to minimize the human footprint and let nature thrive.

Ingredients: cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin.
May contain traces of milk, nuts, peanuts and sesame.
