What the lid is for
The Loveramics glass jugs come without a lid, which is fine for brewing straight into, but an open 500 ml jug loses heat while you finish the first cup. This 8 cm lid sits in the opening of the jug and helps hold that heat in. It also works as a dust cover when the jug lives on a shelf, and with loose leaf tea in the jug it turns it into a simple teapot. Like the jugs, the glass is made thicker than typical glassware so it copes with daily use in a busy café. Turned upside down, the lid also fits the Loveramics Dripper Stand.
Which jugs it fits
Loveramics makes this lid in two sizes. The 8 cm version fits the Tall, Belly and Optic jugs, which covers every shape in the Loveramics Glass Jug range we carry. The larger 10 cm lid is only for the Straight and Zigzag jugs, so if your jug came from KaffeBox, this is the lid you need.
