The April Brewer project started with a simple goal; to create a Drip Filter Brewer that generates a perfectly balanced, transparent, and reliable taste experience.

Material: Thin ceramic clay
Style: Flatbed
Paper filter: April brew filters, Kalita 185 or other flatbed filters (please note that the brewer is sold without paper filters)

The Collection

The April Brewer comes with a custom-designed saucer and cup that you can brew directly in to. With the cup comes a lid to improve the aroma experience, it also allows you to regulate the temperature to your liking.

To enjoy the coffee in the best possible way, we created an innovative lid solution; that allows you to trap aromas and keep temperature stability.

    Very pleased with the brewer – it does produce a sweeter taste. Still experimenting with it but getting good results so far.

    Ceramic seems like the material for drip coffee
    The design is simple and genius
    Hence, very easy to use.
    The flat bottom approach seems to work well
    The fifth star is missing due to the lid – it is really hard to grab unless you have very tiny fingers
