Product details
A genuine Fellow replacement shower head for the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker. The part is a dual assembly (inner plus outer shower head) that sits on top of the filter box lid and spreads water evenly across the coffee bed during brewing, which is what lets Aiden produce consistent extraction across different brew volumes.
Shower heads are worth replacing periodically because mineral scale and coffee oils build up in the small perforations over time, which changes the spray pattern and can lead to uneven saturation and channelling in the bed. Installation is tool-free: align the arrow on the shower head with the open circle icon on the filter box lid, then turn counterclockwise until it lines up with the closed circle icon.

When to replace the shower head
If you notice uneven saturation of the coffee bed, water spraying to one side, or visible scale buildup on the underside of the shower head that doesn’t come off with descaling, it’s time for a new one. A compromised spray pattern is one of the less obvious causes of inconsistent brews, since the rest of the machine can be working correctly while the water simply isn’t landing where it should.
How to install it
Remove the old shower head by rotating it clockwise until the arrow aligns with the open circle icon on the filter box lid, then pull it away. Fit the new one by lining up the arrow with the open circle, pressing it flush against the lid, and rotating counterclockwise until the arrow lines up with the closed circle. Fellow notes that a small amount of force is normal during removal and reattachment.
