The Kaldi Wide POP Coffee Roaster is a great home roaster with a roasting capacity of 300g. It is an easy roaster to operate and the large popularity of the KALDI roasters online make troubleshooting and learning about coffee roasting very enjoyable. The frame of the roaster is welded together (as apposed to bolts) to preserve longevity and retain stiffness. The rear fixed thermometer is an easy-to-view L-type thermometer and provides a constant reading of the bean temperature.

Important: Kaldi roasters do not include a heat source. You’ll need a mini gas stove (gasskjøkken, gassbluss) as a heat source. A stove can be purchased from a local hardware store such as Biltema, Jula, Clas Ohlson The roaster must be operated outdoors or in a location with proper ventilation.
The drum is the most important part of the coffee roaster. The drum on the Kaldi roaster is made from 2mm thick stainless steel and perforated with 3mm holes. The interior of the drum has three agitator blades to keep the coffee mixing evenly.

Very good roaster, good for starters or sample roasting. Wish there was a cover or some form for blocking at the front. Some beans may fall out the front if u fill it to max 300grams. And maybe some speed adjustment on the drum had been nice but iam nitpicking at this point. I am very saticefied with the roaster and fast delivery (Norway). Good service from KaffeBox 🙂
