The Weber Workshops Buck is a naked portafilter made from a block of forged, machined, and polished 304 stainless steel. It is designed to sit flat on a countertop and is optimized for Unibasket sizes but compatible with all standard 58mm baskets.

It fits standard 58mm portafilter groups incorporating E61 design with exposed group, including: Profitec, La Marzocco (all except KB-90), Slayer, Synesso, Kees VanDer Westen, Decent, Flair 58, etc. For Victoria Arduino & La Marzocco Micra and Mini: The BUCK will lock in and seal, however it locks in significantly to the right of center potentially interfering with position of steam wand if left in group while steaming. It is not compatible with Breville/Sage or Gaggia Classic Pro, or similar proprietary non-E61 groups.

All handles have a solid stainless steel core to give them heft and longevity. That is covered either by a thick FKM rubber sleeve, or a cored-out solid piece of solid teak wood sanded and finished with a non-VOC oil that will patina over the years like a piece of fine Danish furniture. They are both built for life.
