These are the official, custom-manufactured paper filters designed specifically for the NextLevel Pulsar. Developed in collaboration with coffee expert Scott Rao, these filters are integral to the Pulsar’s “No-Bypass” brewing method.

Unlike standard flat-bottom filters that can clog easily when grinding fine, these filters are engineered with a specific porosity and fiber structure. They offer high fines-carrying capacity, allowing you to grind finer for higher extraction yields without stalling the brew or creating a muddy cup.

Perfect fit for No-Bypass

Sized at exactly 80mm, these filters sit flush against the bottom of the Pulsar brewer. This edge-to-edge fit eliminates the risk of water channeling down the sides (bypass), ensuring every drop of water passes through the coffee bed for maximum clarity and sweetness.

High-Quality Construction

Made in the USA from premium food-grade fibers, these filters are compostable and taste-neutral. They require only a minimal rinse to remove any paper dust before brewing.

Barista Tip: Rough Side Up!

These filters feature a “Crepe” (textured) side and a “Smooth” side. For the best performance:

• Rough/Crepe Side facing UP: This side should touch the coffee grounds. The texture increases surface area and prevents fine particles from sealing off the paper, keeping the flow open.
• Smooth Side facing DOWN: This side should touch the brewer base.
