Developed by Scott Rao in partnership with NextLevel (creators of the Pulsar), these filters are engineered to fix the one flaw of the Hoop: flow restriction.

Unlike the standard stock filters which can easily clog with fines, this custom paper uses a specialized fiber structure that maintains high permeability even with finer grinds. This allows you to push extraction higher without hitting a “wall” where the water just sits on top of the bed.

Cut to exactly 62mm, these filters fit the Ceado Hoop’s outer ring perfectly. When the tower is screwed down, the filter pulls taut like a drum skin, ensuring a perfect seal that forces all water through the coffee bed for a true no-bypass extraction.

Cleaner Flavor Profile

The high-quality paper imparts zero papery taste and provides excellent clarity, highlighting the acidity and floral notes of light roasts better than thicker, slower filters.

Barista Tip: For the best seal, place the filter on the Outer Loop, wet it slightly to hold it in place, and then screw the Flow Tower down. You should see the paper tighten significantly. This “drum tight” tension is key to the Hoop’s performance.
