hit in our advent calendar in 2023 and has since been highly requested.

Taste: This coffee is something truly special! Extended lactic fermentation for 72 hours has
contributed to giving it a unique funky flavor. The coffee brings out notes of cherry yogurt and
blackcurrant wine gum, providing a distinctive experience even for the seasoned coffee drinker.

Frinsa Estate
In 2010, Wildan Mustofa and his wife Atieq Mustikaningtyas started the coffee project that would
become their Java Frinsa Estate. With an extraordinary focus on quality, Wildan Mustofa has
managed to make his farm stand out. He is truly one of the key figures in Indonesia’s specialty
coffee wave.

While most coffee in Indonesia is processed with the traditional wet-hulled method, they use
mostly fully washed processing at Frinsa Estate, resulting in a much sweeter, cleaner, and more
transparent flavor profile.

Notably, Frinsa Estate is one of the few farms in Indonesia focusing on selling single-variety
coffees. They also lead the way with their experiments with modern processing methods, such
as using bacteria like lactobacillus or different types of yeast in the fermentation process.
CleverCoffee paid 213% over the market price for this coffee.
