Today’s coffee is the El Placer from Colombia, produced by Sebastián Ramírez. This unique lot is a co-fermented coffee, roasted by Jacu Coffee.

We’re thrilled to have El Placer back this autumn! Our good friend Ole Kristian Bøen met the amazing people behind this coffee and strongly recommended we bring it in last season. It turned out to be a huge success — we fell in love with its vibrant sweetness and elegant complexity. We’re so happy to share it with you again!
Coffee: 15 g to 250 g water (1:16.67 ratio)
Water: 250g / 92 degrees
Grind size: Medium grindsize (22 clicks on Comandante C60)
50 g bloom for 35 seconds
0:35 – 50 g circular pour
1:05 – 50 g circular pour
1:35 – 50 g circular pour
2:00 – 50 g circular pour
Pour water just when the water have drained. Try 1 to 2 clicks finer if it drains very fast
TBT 2:30 – give the carafe a good swirl
