Today’s coffee is the Gitezi by Gahizi, a Washed Red Bourbon from the Gitesi Washing Station in Karongi, Rwanda.

This is the freshest coffee possible we could deliver. It barely reahed our roastery in time. Last year’s profile was exellent and probably one of the best coffees we had that year. At this point we are crossing our fingers that the landing coffee is just as good.

Water: 500g / 94-95 degrees
Grind size: 800-1000 um / medium
30s bloom.
Last pouring at 3min.
Total extraction time less than 4 minutes.
Filter grounds but use a different filter and/or grind coarser if the coffee is clogging the filter.
