Rumudamo Cup of Excellence

We are thrilled to release a very limited amount of a winning coffee from the first-ever Ethiopian Cup of Excellence competition. Rumudamo consists of a small group of shareholders working together with 35 coffee growers in the Sidamo region of Ethiopia who received an incredible score of 90.89, which was the highest-scoring washed coffee in the entire competition.

At $108 per pound, it is also the highest price we have ever paid for a coffee at Coffee Collective, which is clearly reflected in its incredible performance on the cupping table. We have roasted it quite aggressively to accentuate its tropical fruity notes and these very pronounced tropical aromas combined with delicate acidity and a very clean finish make it one the best coffees we have ever tasted.

75% ($81.80 per pound) of the paid amount goes directly to the farmers and equates to around 11590% above the market price.
