Fried Hats – Colombia la Maria Gesha Honey

Hey, we found some seriously delicious coffee this year thanks to our friend Rodolfo, who produces coffee in El Salvador. His tip really paid off! The coffee we found is produced by a farming duo named Orlando Ospina and Emilcen Sanchez on their farm, Finca La Maria, located in La Mesa in the Cundinamarca region. They grow the geisha variety at an altitude between 1660-1750 masl and used a honey process (plus a little bit of natural process mixed in for good measure).

Orlando is an agronomist and together with Emilcen, they are the perfect examples of skilled and committed coffee producers who grow amazing and delicious coffee. This geisha coffee has those classic floral notes and a juicy sweetness of orange and grapefruit. Trust us, you won’t want to miss this one!
