Dhilgee means “bloody red” in the Oromiffa language. This represents a type of coffee that tastes like light flowers, red berries, purple fruit, and is generally round and sweet.

West Arsi in Ethiopia is fascinating with its many flavor profiles. Located on the border of Bale Mountain National Park’s Harenna Forest is an area that several producers have recently begun investing in. Here you can now find micro-washing stations that process coffee that grow wild in the forest. The coffee is located in the most remote areas that are barely accessible by car.
