Clever Coffee – Zinule, Uganda

This is quite a gem that we have found. I have tasted several Ugandan coffees over the last couple of years. I have seen the potential, but not quite found that extra special one, until now.

This is a fully washed coffee with the well-known Kenyan varietals SL14, SL28 and SL34. The coffee is grown around the town Bulambi in the Mt. Elgon area very close to the Kenyan border. Sow what should you expect from this coffee?

First of all it’s super clean and bright. It’s juicy and sweet with notes of Muscovado sugar, orange, nectarine and white tea.
