Cafelat Nuova Simonelli 8.3mm Silicone Espresso Gasket

Introducing our very own group gaskets made from food-grade FDA silicone. Unlike regular gaskets that are made from rubber, these gaskets have no smell or taste, and are easy to change because they won’t harden like rubber does.

If you’ve ever struggled to change an old gasket, you know the awful smell and black soot that comes off the rubber. And that’s what you’re potentially consuming with each drink. We’ve spent months testing and adjusting the material so that these gaskets have the same compression strength as rubber, but are also softer for an easier seal.

The size for the Nuova Simonelli 8.3mm gasket is 71mm x 56.5mm x 8.3mm (red color) and it has passed the SGS food test report. These gaskets are the newer conical shape for the Appia/Oscar/Musica.
